C.P. Chandrasekhar speaks on “Rising Inequality in the Global South”

Prof. C.P. Chandrasekhar speaks about the rise in inequalities in recent times in Asian countries, despite high rates of economic growth in some of these countries. He explains how this recent trend is different from the previous experiences of countries like South Korea in the first phase of their industrialization, when economic growth was followed by real improvements in the standard of living of even the lowest section of society.
