The Americans at a Crossroads : Putting decent work back on development agenda

Contrary to the scenario over the last two decades, the creation of decent work opportunities must rise once again as a central priority in development policymaking. This paper explores the path for a well coordinated and a more dynamic mix of public and private sector policies in the Americas that mobilize the region’s untapped domestic human, financial and natural resources and that facilitate its strategic integration in the world.
