M. S. Swaminathan interviewed by Jomo Kwame Sundaram at FAO

Professor M. S. Swaminathan (August 7, 1925 – September 28, 2023), was Chair (2009-13) of the Steering Committee of the High Level Panel of Experts (HLPE) on Food Security and Nutrition. He was interviewed by Jomo Kwame Sundaram, then Assistant Director General, Food and Agriculture Organization, on October 11, 2013. Professor Swaminathan discussed not only the Green Revolution, to which he was key, but also incisively commented on several contemporary food and agriculture problems.
