Interest and Capital: The monetary economics of Michal Kalecki Book Launch

The Economic Faculty of UNAM-Mexico and the research project “Capital mobility in the XXI century: A glance at markets and institutions in Latin America “are pleased to invite you to the book launch “Interest and Capital: The Monetary Economics of Michal Kalecki“, May 24^th, 2022, 11.00 am Mexican Hour

The guest commentators are Prof.  Arturo O’Connell a former member of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Argentina, Dr. Juan Pablo Painceira, Senior Adviser of the Open Markets Operations Department of the Central Bank of Brazil, Dr. Noemi Levy from the Economic Faculty, UNAM and Dr.  Jorge Bustamante, FES-Acatlán, UNAM, with the presence of Dr. Jan Toporowski, the book author.

The discussion will be around Kalecki’s monetary policy in Latin America, addressing the discussion in terms of developing economies. In the light of the world events this discussion can shed important conclusions.
