Call for Papers: SMAIAS-ASN Summer School 2023, 16 – 20 January, 2023. Last date of submission : 1 September 2022.

We are pleased to share with you the Call for Papers for next year’s SMAIAS-ASN Summer School.

The theme for 2023 will be “Popular Movements Today: Class Struggles in Rural and Urban Peripheries“.

The 2023 Summer School will return to a concern that has been basic to our network from early on, since the publication of Reclaiming the Land (Zed Books, 2005) [Recuperando la Tierra, CLACSO, 2008], nearly two decades ago. We thus intend to bring focus once again to popular movements and sustain a reassessment in the current context of general crisis.
