This
paper, explores the socio-economic roots
and macroeconomic outcomes of certain
correlations between economic growth and
unemployment in Turkey. This research
is accompanied by statistical data of
the last decade. Moreover, the author
briefly structures a new approach by suggesting
the insertion of a certain strategy of
industrialization into the economy’s growth
model in order to establish a positive
correlation between economic growth and
the employment rate.
